San Francisco Bay Area progressive educators (and even some from as far away as Southern California) joined together for an eventful day of learning and collaboration around the theme of Reaching and Teaching All Learners on the campus of Children’s Day School in San Francisco. Keynote speaker Dr. Melina Uncapher shared the latest research on the neuroscience of learning, debunking myths and providing insights about how we all learn and what education practices work best. Educators from various partners schools led workshops on everything from launching and sustaining affinity groups to cultivating a culture of diversity through poetry. An inspiring and sustaining day for our participants. The Center for Progressive Education continues to grow!
